How to sync clips in Adobe Premiere

If you are experiencing Audio/Video sync issues with clips from Kiswe Studio in Premiere, it may be due to Premiere misinterpreting the clip as Variable Frame Rate.  You can check if Premiere is interpreting the clip as variable frame rate by checking the properties of the file (right-click the file in your project bin - Properties)

To mitigate this issue within Premiere, you should change the Variable Frame Rate mode on the clip from "Preserve Audio Sync" to "Smooth Video Motion".  You can access this control in Effects Controls - Mpeg Source Settings - Variable Frame Rate Mode

*Note - This setting will not show up unless the video is detected as Variable Frame Rate

You may also try creating a new clip from the Kiswe Studio clipping system, and then check to see if that new clip is misinterpreted as Variable Frame Rate by Premiere.  If you continue to have AV Sync issues, or if your clip is not detected as VFR but you have sync issues, please contact Kiswe Studio Support team.
