Talent Network Latency and Jitter
Network latency and jitter between the caster's actual location and the Kiswe Studio cloud entry point that is chosen.
Mixer Ingest Bitrates
This bitrate is measured for incoming streams from Talents and feeds. This bitrate should match the bitrate selected by the talent. High fluctuations in this graph mean the incoming network or connection is unstable
Mixer Ingest Buffers
This is the amount of seconds that the mixer is buffering the incoming stream. The blue line shows the amount of audio in the buffer, the green line the amount of video. It is normal that there is a difference between them and the audio's buffer is larger. A graph hitting zero means the buffer is empty and no more video vs audio is being received.
- 5 sec for Ingests
- 2 sec for talents
- 4 seconds for cross continent events
NOTE: you can add delay to the ingest streams in the Kiswe Studio, and it will affect this graph.
Clock offsets
The Kiswe Studio continuously tries to sync the timecodes in the incoming streams and its local clock. It's normal for this graph to fluctuate.
- A normal offset: between -200ms and +200ms.
When the offsets diverge, the mixer tries to compensates the speed of the ingest to get in sync again. When the offset is outside the +/- 200ms range and the compensation is not working, this is an indication that the network between the client and the receiver is not fast enough (not enough bandwidth) and therefore packages arrive too late.
