To create replays with the Switcher, follow these steps
1. Assign Replay as a source
A replay module needs to be added to one of the grid's source boxes first.
-
Click the "add source" button
-
Choose Replay from the menu
-
The "Replay all list" (more lists with replays will become available later) can be selected.
2. Choose the ingest sources
As you select sources, you will be able to create replay clips from those sources. Currently, you can select a maximum of five sources at a time. If a replay button is pressed, a clip will be created for each source and added to the replay clip list.
-
Navigate to the settings panel (last tab on the bottom left).
-
Select the streams that you wish to record for replay
3. Make a replay video
There are three replay buttons located between the preview and program view. Each replay button has a different time frame, indicated on the button itself, 15, 30 or 45 seconds before the button is pressed.
4. Configure the replay clip scene
Following the addition of clips, you will be able to:
In the list, hover over the clips to see:
-
Remove
-
Rearrange
- Download the clip
In the same way as the other scenes, you can:
-
On top of the clips, add a layer
-
You can select which audio streams you want to hear when you select a replay scene
-
Add a stinger to the replay scene
-
Determine how the clips should be played, chained, and if they should autoswitch back.
5. Play replay clips in the program or preview
The replay scene can be put in preview or program mode and you can play, restart or select the next or previous clip with the media buttons.
You can see the replay clips when you open the scene of the replay list. For each of use we automatically put the replay scene into preview so you can play out the replay clip as soon as it is created. Use the media controls under the preview/program to control the clips.
New clips will be added under the existing clips.
