1. Login
- Use island credentials
2. Open event
- On the dashboard you have the events of that day

Search for the event via the search bar
- by name
- by day
- by venue abbreviation
- Click on the correct station switcher event to enter it
3. Connect your device
- Click on bottom right talkback button
- Select your microphone to use the intercom to the individual fan rooms
- Now 4 buttons appear
- Hover over a fan room
- The intercom button to the fan room is active now
- You need to Press & hold it to talk to the room
4. Check event basics (these elements are already supplied by the template, the scheduler & ops)

Main grid:
- Station is added and showing the video of the station (ops does this)
- 4 Slates are there
- the first fan rooms are there (added by the scheduler)

Settings tab:
- Output streams are correct (main + backup)
- Stinger is added (automation section)
5. Produce the show
- Turn the ‘Waiting for athlete’ slate in program

See the fan rooms: a maximum of 8 fan rooms is visible to improve the performance
- Hover over one of the active fan rooms and see that the eye button is red = active
- To activate another fan room, de-activate one of the 8 active fan rooms first
- Now hover over the inavtive fan room, press the eye button to activate it
- it will take up to 30 sec before you see the video of that room
- !! Note: The other fan rooms are active and can contain guest, but you just don't see the video of the room (in order to not slow down the event production on your computer)
- !! Note: in the fan rooms there is a placeholder where the venue camera should come.. so the guest don't see the athlete until this room is placed into program

Room ready for production
- When a room is ready tell the guests to be prepared
- Hover over the fan room and press & hold the intercom button to talk to the room
- Click on the room to put it in preview (left on top)
- When the athlete is in front of the screen in the venue
- Press cut and the fan room becomes active in program (and output)
- From now on the athlete and guests see each other
- Press switch button again to back to preview once the Athlete moment is over
- !! Note: from the moment a fan room is put into program we record it and automatically make a clip that can be downloaded straight away.

Remove & mute guests during / before the athlete moment is Live
- Go to scene panel (second tab on the left)
- Select the correct fan room (you must see it in the middle) by clicking on it in the top part
- The selected fan room is show in big in the middle part
- Under the videos is the content of that room

Hover over the guests in the left bottom
- Remove them - bin button
- Mute them - speaker button
- See their stats - stats button
- !! Note: The first 5 guests who joined the room will be placed in the layout. There are 10 guest slots, so more guest can enter, but are not in the layout. In order to get different people in the layout you need to remove other guests and the next guest will be added.
- !! Note: if a guest drops, the layouts will automatically adjust to the number of left guests, or a guest in the queue will be added. This can take some seconds to be fully in place, so better to do this before the Athlete moment is live.
6. Remove used fan rooms
- Once the athlete moment is done, you can remove the room (or the scheduler can do this)
- Go to the scene panel (second button on the left )
- Find the find room that is done (click on the video in the top and make sure it shows in the middle big box)
- In the right middle bar of the screen you see a delete button to remove the fan room
- Now the box is open again to add new fan rooms
7. Use backup streams
- In case something is wrong with the previews in your event
- Go to settings page (lowest button on the left)
- Activate the backup streams toggle in the settings part of that screen.
- !! Note: Don't touch the main / backup stream itsefl.. these will need to stay active. Only change the toggle and in you preview you will see the backups streams. Switching to this can take several seconds.

Switch panel
Here you switch between the slates & the rooms with the cut button. The press on the cut button will also be used to record the Fan room and create a clip automatically that you can find in the Clipper section on the dashboard.
Elements of the station room and the options

Station: the direct preview of the station
- Graph: diagnostics of the station stream
- Change: use the backup stream

Fan rooms: the rooms needed for that day events
- Intercom: talk to the room directly to let them now they will be up soon

Slates: a graphic box with slates
- Arrows: show previous / next slate
Scene panel
You can edit the fan rooms from the station room.
- Delete guests
- Use individual talkback to a guest
- Add a stinger to the fan room
Key panel
Here you can add global layers, keys, for logo's or a slate for technical issues
Audio panel
Master the audio volumes of the rooms
Crew panel
Master the audio volumes of all the crew members
Commentator panel
Not needed
Output panel
- Select the output stream to send the program to
- Confirm that the automation settings are turned off.
Communication
Before you can use the talkback and the intercom you need to start streaming and connect your devices.
- Press the camera icon at the bottom right
- Allow access to Kiswe to use your audio and video
- Select the devices you want to use
- And select the region you are located (need to be as close as possible for low latency & high quality)
- Press Start and the streaming starts & you can use the communication tools. See that the button turned red. Pressing the button again wil ask you to disable the streaming again.
