On top you have the preview and the program view with the action bars, under this you find the source grid with all added streams, media, clips and layers.
Preview and program area

Preview: scene / source in preview, to be put in program with a cut

Program: output that is shown to the audience

Actions: per source type there are different actions possible

Listen: listen to the audio mix of the preview or the program

Replay: create instant replays of multiple sources

Cut: switches the content from the preview window to the program window

Ad Markers: ingest custom ad markers (SCTE - SMPTE)
Actions
- Media actions: play, pause, restart, previous and next clip or media file
- Slo-mo: speed up or slow down the (replay) clips
- Content: open a popup to show and select all assets
- Layer: opens popup to show & select all layers
Source grid
Add layers, audio streams, and transition effects to your scenes. An overview of the sources that you can add is available here. When you select one of the added sources or want to edit the scene, a preview will appear.
Source Menu
- Keys: Open/close the global layers (keys) and activate them in the output
- Hot switch: Directly push scenes into program, the preview will disappear
- Re-order: Drag & drop to re-order the boxes in the grid
Keys
- 3 types of keys can be added
- Graphics - Multiple assets
- Web source (html5 url) - 1 single URL
- Tweets - multiple tweets & hashtags

Activate the keys in the program/output by clicking on the eye
- If multiple assets in the layers, you can go to the next or previous asset

To hide global layers, click the eye icon in the panel's menu bar.
- Edit keys on the Key panel

- Click on the empty boxes to add content and select which type
- Edit the scenes, make macros of them on the scene panel
- Combine sources into specific layouts
